Amnesty International has ignored the complaint of Vinnik's lawyers

The Greek branch of the international human rights organization Amnesty International did not react in any way toa complaint by Russian Alexander Vinnik’s lawyers, suspected of laundering at least $ 4 billion through the BTC-e bitcoin exchange. This was stated by Greek lawyer Vinnika Zoe Constantopoulou, reports TASS.

She also said that the defense had filed a complaint with the UN Human Rights Commissariat and filed a new request to cancel the sequential extradition to France, the United States and then Russia.

According to Konstantopulu, Vinnik is under great pressure:

«But he didn’t kill anyone, and his crimelies in special knowledge that can help free people economically from the power of banks. Alexander was the technical specialist in charge of the online platform through which bitcoins were exchanged. And Bitcoin is a legal currency, for example, New Zealand uses it legally.

Another lawyer of Alexander Vinnik, Nikos Konstantopoulos emphasized that in Greece itself his client is not accused of anything.

«The USA and France are making demands for itextradition, but he is not being prosecuted in Greece. That is, the Greek judicial system carries out illegal demands, and in violation of human rights. Therefore, international legality is also violated», —he noted.

Recall, recently, the children of Alexander Vinnik filed a complaint with a Greek court about a violation of their rights.
