Greece is preparing documents for the extradition of Alexander Vinnik to the United States. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference on the decision of the Ministry of Justice of Greece and his letter to the head of the prison.

According to the publication, although the document prescribesthe priority of transferring Vinnik to France, and only then to the USA and Russia, the French were not even going to take the alleged offender. Greek Justice Minister Costas Ciaras sent a letter to the head of the Coridallos prison, in which he orders "to prepare documents and ensure the transfer of Vinnik to US representatives."

“This means that the French will not come and not evenwere going. The document directly indicates a pre-arranged extradition to the United States, ”said Timofey Musatov, head of the Vinnika group of lawyers.

Extradition of Alexander Vinnik expectedto be held before the end of December, that is, only a week is left. As Vinnik’s lawyer Zoe Konstantopoulou said, she immediately appealed to cancel the extradition. According to the lawyer, the extradition of Alexander Vinnik to the United States is tantamount to a death sentence.
