Waves Enterprise began testing blockchain voting

Blockchain platform Waves Enterpriseopened free access to beta testing of the service for electronic corporate and state voting.

As company representatives told ForkLog,The new service creates a trusted environment for all participants in the voting process. The technology ensures that the vote cast cannot be altered, canceled or lost.

«Authenticated participants actionsare verified through smart contracts, and the results are calculated automatically and stored decentralized. Each participant can check whether his vote was taken into account and receive the final protocol,” the developers noted.

According to their calculations, the underlying PoS and PoA consensus algorithms process up to 1000 requests per second, which allows it to be used for large-scale voting.

The service is delivered both publicly on the basis of the main Waves Enterprise network, and as a solution on the customer’s private network.

«We are confident that the service will help businesssignificantly reduce the costs of organizing meetings, as well as avoid controversial situations related to distrust in the results of remote voting,” said Waves Enterprise Product Director Artem Kalikhov.

The developers plan to expand the scope of the service and customize it for the business processes of specific companies.

Earlier, Waves Enterprise developed a methodology for verifying the health of systems based on distributed registry technology.
