Salesforce introduces Lition blockchain for decentralized data storage

A major American provider of cloud solutions for business and developer of the Salesforce CRM system of the same nameintegrated the commercial Lition blockchain for decentralized data storage.

As Lition states, blockchain integrationenables Salesforce to use data decentralization to make the CRM system architecture more secure in the long run. The statement said:

“Dependence on fully centralized datacreates operational risks, since there is no guarantee that this data can be extracted. A blockchain compatible with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation is an excellent way to partially eliminate this dependence in a decentralized way. ”

Technology will be available in the app in the cloudSalesforce, which will allow more than 150,000 users - from small enterprises to large companies - to record, certify and protect sensitive information in a confidential manner.

“The Lition blockchain is completely unique in thiscontext because it provides a level that complies with the privacy law and allows you to take advantage of the decentralized characteristics of the blockchain, ”said Benni Woerpel, Lition marketing manager.

In 2018, Salesforce patented the system onblockchain, which will save email users from spam and other unwanted emails, and last year the company introduced the Salesforce Blockchain system based on the Hyperledger Sawtooth platform.
