Ministry of Health UnitedThe United Arab Emirates, together with other departments, launched a blockchain platform for storing information on the activities of all organizations in the healthcare sector.

The new solution will allow you to find the right institution andlearn about the qualifications of his staff or the details of the supply of drugs. In the future, an artificial intelligence system will also be integrated into the platform, which will expand the functionality of the project.

The main goal of the innovation is to increase efficiency activities of the Ministry of Health of the UAE and other health services.

According to the head of the department forpublic health Lubny Al Shaali, a blockchain platform will provide immutable, decentralized and encrypted databases with a high degree of protection, allowing you to verify the accuracy and reliability of information.

Earlier, the UAE authorities set a goal by 2021transfer half of the government data exchange operations to the blockchain. As of February 2020, 80% of government agencies in the country have already begun to use this technology.
