GeekBrains Launches Online Agile Methodology Course: Scrum, Kanban, Lean

The educational portal GeekBrains launches a three-day online course on Agile methodologies, aimed at  IT professionals and those who want toAt a basic level, understand the technology or strengthen your resume. 

On the first day of the course, February 22, students will studyprinciples and history of the cascade model, a spiral development model, get acquainted with the critics of Waterfall, learn the basics of Agile thinking and Agile manifest.

The second day of training, February 29, will be devoted to an overview of FDD, XP, Scrum, Lean, Kanban and Crystal Clear methodologies.Students will be told about application casesAgile in modern companies.

On the last day, March 7th, the principles will be sorted out,Scrum rituals, artifacts and roles, meeting types, stories, Lean and Kanban basic principles, Lean Production concepts, and three sigma rules. The training will end with Scrum in action.

Participants will also have access to class notes and teaching materials after completing the course.

The program was developed by Alexey Gorbylev, Technical Director of the monetization department of the Youla ad service (Mail.ru Group).According to him, Agile has long ceased to be a local method from the IT world.Most modern companies use an agile approach to software development, and it doesn't matter what they do — industry, educational technology, or something else.

The course is paid, the number of places is limited. Pre-registration  is required to participate.
