Hackers hacked the Vietnamese exchange VinDAX, losses amounted to $500 thousand. Funds were withdrawn from the site in 23 digitalassets, reports The Block.

Hacking and the amount of damage was confirmed by the administrator of the Telegram channel of the exchange. According to him, the incident occurred three days ago.

The Vietnamese exchange is mainly engaged in the sale of tokens of little-known projects through its IEO platform Launchpad. Currently, it hosts the token sale of the MyFie blockchain project.

VinDAX was already the seventh hacked cryptocurrency exchange this year, and the combined damage from the attacks exceeded $ 105 million.

The total damage from hacking cryptocurrency exchanges for the whole time reached $ 1.39 billion.

Recall that last year, an attack on the Japanese exchange Coincheck alone brought hackers more than $ 530 million in XEM tokens.
