Study: 66% of Europeans are confident in the future of cryptocurrencies

According to survey results released Wednesday by bitFlyer Europe, the European arm of Japan'scryptocurrency exchange bitFlyer, 66% of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies will exist in 10 years. This was reported by Coindesk.

The survey, conducted with the help of Google Surveys, was attended by 10,000 people from 10 European countries.

Italy was the most optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies. Almost three quarters (72%) of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies will continue to exist in 10 years.

The indicator of 66% is 3% higher than the results of a similar survey that was conducted last year.

“These results indicate a slow but steady adoption of cryptocurrencies.”Said Andy Bryant, COO of bitFlyer Europe.

UK respondents were least optimistic in this survey. However, more than half (56%) believe in the long-term potential of cryptocurrencies.
