S7 Airlines connected online ticket sales system Nemo.Travel to its blockchain platform

Now the benefits of the innovative S7 Airlines air ticket payment system are available to all usersonline platform for the sale of airline tickets Nemo.Travel.

Blockchain-based payment solution,developed by S7 TechLab specialists, provides efficient, safe and prompt settlements between the agent and the airline - the money for the issued ticket is debited from the agent's bank account in real time.

“To work with online agents, we usea product developed on the basis of the IATA NDC - S7 Agent API standard, which provides agents with direct access to all S7 Airlines services. Last year, we connected the first online agent working according to the international NDC standard to the blockchain platform. I am sure that now it will be easier for agents who are connected to the S7 Agent API using Websky Tech to switch to mutual settlements using blockchain technology, ”says Igor Veretennikov, Deputy General Director for Sales of S7 Group.

S7 Airlines blockchain platform developed inpartnership with Alfa-Bank, built on the basis of the Hyperledger Fabric protocol. This is the first project to create an infrastructure for making payments online, from booking tickets to executing bank payments. The implementation of the platform made it possible to increase the speed of settlements and reduce paperwork, guaranteeing the safety of operations. At the beginning of the year, S7 Airlines switched to a new version of the platform, now the transaction time is only 15 seconds.
