Microsoft and Aeternity support Maltese blockchain startups

Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) has entered into a partnership with the Aeternity project to develop and support Malteseblockchain startups.

According to the press release, MIC and investmentAeternity AE Ventures will organize blockchain-focused events in the region, which will bolster Malta's image as a technology-friendly jurisdiction.

Aeternity Global Accelerator ProgramStarfleet carefully analyzed over 100 blockchain startups around the world and selected the 15 most trustworthy projects to take part in the first event, scheduled for November.

The weekly training program that will beled by industry experts, designed to provide high-quality materials, instructions, lectures, seminars and practical knowledge needed by startups for successful development. MIC Head Mary Downing noted:

“After the hype around the blockchain in recentyears, it's time to dispel all doubts that skeptics may still have about technology. Support for Aeternity and MIC will not only provide more flexible development of new technologies, but also provide an opportunity to promote the blockchain. ”

If everything goes according to plan, MIC and AE VenturesThey plan to organize an additional five weeks of mentoring for another 10 blockchain startups, upon completion of which projects will receive $ 100,000 in AE tokens, as well as an additional six months of mentoring and participation in the program.
