Yesterday, December 10, the developers of the Ledger hardware wallet announced a new feature of their softwareLive provision to support staking of the Tezos (XTZ) cryptocurrency.
Including Staking Support, Tezos Holderscan receive rewards for maintaining network security through a hardware wallet. A new option is available in both the desktop and mobile versions of the program.
The company is confident that it provides a higher level of security and convenience compared to similar services of crypto platforms.
Currently, Ledger supports 24 currencies and more than 1250 ERC20 tokens. These wallets are relatively cheap and powerful enough for supported currencies.
Recently in its blog the company presentedLedger Live toolkit update. Staking Tezos – isn't the last change Ledger is making to its core software. The company promises to continue creating tools for other currencies, tokens and assets.
Many companies are rolling out support for Tezos.Exchange Coinbase added XTZ staking service for users of its platform in November. In early December, Binance announced zero fees for Tezos staking.
