Juventus Football Club Releases $ JUV Cryptocurrency Token

Juventus Football Club has launched a cryptocurrency token, $JUV, which will help its fan base,exceeding 400 million people, realize their voice, reports The Block.

The token is launched in collaboration with the blockchain startup Socios.com and will be sold through its application. Token holders will be able to vote for some club decisions and receive rewards.

Socios.com CEO Alexander Dreyfus said:

“99.9% of fans are not in the same city / countrywith the team they support. We created these interchangeable tokens to give fans the opportunity to influence some of the initiatives. ” So, fans will be able to decide which song will play each time Juventus scores a goal at Alliance Stadium.

Juventus Profit Director Giorgio Ricci said:

“We are proud to be the first club featured on the Socios.com platform, thus paving the way for fans to interact with around the world.”

Previously a similar agreement with Sociossigned the French club Paris Saint-Germain. Note that in the first quarter of 2020, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain club tokens will be available for exchange for Socios CHZ token. Currently, CHZ is traded on the Binance exchange.
