HTC launches smartphone with NFT support and Metaverse

Taiwanese smartphone developer HTC is releasing a new “cryptophone” with support for non-fungible tokens and the metaverse after releasing a smartphone for cryptocurrency mining.

HTC introduced the new HTC Desire 22 Pro phonewith support for the Viverse metaverse, as well as cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The smartphone will come with pre-installed apps that will allow users to interact with the metaverse, as well as allow users to buy NFTs and create their own virtual space.

According to the developers, the device is optimized to work with the lightweight HTC Vive Flow VR headset with HDCP 2.2 connectivity, which allows you to transmit images wirelessly to a virtual reality headset.
