GeekUniversity Opens Enrollment at Data Engineering Faculty

In 12 months, students will get acquainted with the best practices and tools of data engineering, learn how to solve real business problems independently and in a team. Course participants will solvefour project tasks will be able to add them to the portfolio and start a career as a data engineer, ETL or BI developer.

Students will learn how to use SQL, deepen their knowledge of Python, get acquainted with the features of non-relational databases and modern approaches to building warehouses and choosing an architecture for a specific task.The course will also teach you how to usetools for processing large amounts of data, primarily from the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Yarn, Hive, Hue, Flume, Cassandra).Students will master the Apache Spark framework for distributed processing of unstructured and semi-structured data, get acquainted with stream data processing using Kafka and Spark Streaming tools. 
 
In the final, there will be a defense of projects and a preparatory course for the interview.a diploma of professional retraining and a certificate. The teachers of the faculty are practicing specialists and employees of large companies with specialized education and long work experience.
