Fidelity Investments has launched an open version of its cryptocurrency platform

Fidelity Digital Asset Services has opened access to the custodial and trading services of its cryptocurrency platform to all qualified investors.

Fidelity Investments CEO AbigailJohnson told the Financial Times that the company began attracting customers to test the trial platform in February. Currently, the project has reached the final stage and now the services of storage and trading of digital assets are available to a wide audience.

In May, the company opened access to cryptocurrency services only to a limited number of peoplecorporate customers.

Despite the fact that other large companies have also launched similar platforms, Fidelity Investments has a clear competitive advantage in the form of a huge customer base.
