Users will be able to test new Ethereum features starting June 24.
Ethereum developer Tim Beikowrote that the update will be launched on the Ropsten testnet at block number 10,499,401 – around June 24th. Goerli will switch to London on June 30, and Rinkeby on July 7.
The release date for the update on the main network is still unknown.
London upgrade includes five offersto improve Ethereum (EIP). The most anticipated of them – EIP 1559 – should significantly reduce gas costs for users and reduce miner rewards.
