Binance “has no right” work in Malta

Binance is "not allowed" to operate in Malta

According to the country's financial regulator, Binance does not have a permit to operate in Malta.

On Friday, representatives of theMalta Financial Services Authority (MSFA) said Binance is not subject to regulatory oversight of the country. The statement states:

At the moment, the Office is evaluating whetherBinance no areas of activity in the country that may not fall under the regulation. In order to provide cryptocurrency services in the country, organizations must obtain an MSFA license in accordance with the Law on Virtual Financial Assets (CAP 590) of 2018

At the moment, it is not known whether the exchange has offices in Malta. Earlier in an interview, one of the Binance executives said that there are “user support centers” operating on the island.

It is also unknown whether Binance has a headquarters at all and in what jurisdiction the exchange is regulated. Changpeng Zhao said last year that “offices and headquarters are outdated concepts.”

Recall that recently CEO Binance said that halving bitcoin is underestimated by the community. According to him, the military-technical cooperation will begin a bull race after halving.
