Binance continues to expand the list of available fiat currencies and adds euros.
The largest in terms of trading volumeBinance exchange announced the start of support for the euro. According to Changpeng Zhao, Binance now accepts three fiat currencies – euro (EUR), Russian ruble (RUB) and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH).
In October, Binance added the ability to replenish and withdraw funds in Russian rubles (RUB) by launching its first fiat-crypto-trading pairs.
In anticipation of close cooperation with Ukraine indeveloping the country's regulatory framework for digital assets, the platform also opened fiat gates for the Ukrainian hryvnia. CEO Binance plans to meet with government officials during his upcoming visit to Kiev.
The direct fiat crypto trading mechanism was for the first timeannounced on October 21. Changpen Zhao noted that fiat pairs are “very important to lower the barrier to entry” and users can expect to see fiat trading pairs expand soon.
