The Bakkt platform has announced the launch of new Bitcoin options contracts, which will besold in the openmarket since December 9th.
In less than 2 months Bakkt will bypass CME Groupand will become the “first exchange in the industry” to offer options on futures contracts. CME recently announced that it will launch a similar product in early 2020.
The platform's management also stated that it will not charge trading commissions on the platform until January 2020.

However, it is worth noting that in recent daysBakkt futures trading volume is steadily growing. On October 23, the total daily trading volume reached $ 4.8 million, which is 653% more than the total trading volume of the previous nine days.
