Crypto derivatives exchange Bakkt has witnessed a jump in trading volume on Bitcoin futures.So, on Wednesday, the trading volumereached ~$4.81 million on the platform.
This figure exceeds the total trading volume for nineprevious trading days combined. Probably, this jump occurred due to the increased volatility of Bitcoin, since it was yesterday that its price fell by 6% in a few minutes, as a result of being below $ 8,000. At the moment, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $ 7486.00.
Total monthly Bitcoin futures volume on Bakkt currently stands at $20.22 million or ~$0.88 million per day.
