5 problems of students, because of which trading training will be ineffective

Many of us have been trained in trading in different companies or with private traders.Someone taught them themselvesof people. But positive dynamics after the end of the course are often not observed. Why? I will state my point of view.

In my opinion, there are 5 main problems students have that will make trading training ineffective.

1. The curse of knowledge.Experienced people often come to learn trading but cannot understand the reasons behind financial losses. At the same time, their heads are filled with various concepts and terms, dozens of “helpers” are plotted on the graphs, and the information space is constantly monitored…

They simply can’t give up part of their picture of the world and throw in the landfill what does not work. Their bowl is full, but for now it’s impossible to pour in something new.

Sometimes such traders come to the teacher withit’s a very specific problem and they say that they do not have enough trade discipline, they are overwhelming with emotions when trading, they cannot open a deal or exit it in time, etc. and asked to resolve this issue. Everything that falls outside this framework is ignored and dismissed.

2. Lack of self-criticism. Traders are very proud. We love to brag about our successes, but we hide in the depths of our hearts our own failures and problems. When the teacher finds a flaw and points a finger at it, the student covers his ears and says "this is not about me and generally goodbye."

Gambling, excitement, violation of MM, addictionresult, lack of a financial pillow, credit money, an attempt to prove something are inherent in one degree or another of us all. But it’s not customary to talk about it, to admit it, either. It’s better to say that a little discipline is lame and sometimes emotions go wild. But in general there are no problems.

3. Strength of habit. They say that the new rule is fixed for 30-40 days, which is why it is necessary to strictly follow it until it is fixed in human behavior. In fact, some habits can be replaced in a week, and it will take several months or even years to correct others. Therefore, often after graduation, a trader slides into his usual trading rhythm.

If a person is passionate in nature and loves risk, which he lacks in civilian life, while he does not go around the women and does not jump with a parachute, he will seek entertainment in the game on the stock exchange. It's not even a habit. You just need to get emotions in another place, and on the stock exchange, focus on financial results and stop losing money.

4. High expectations. Once you have dispersed the score, having made 100-200% per day or per hour, it is difficult to resist the temptation to repeat this result. Clinging to past "successes", traders put a stick in the wheel themselves, focusing on high income, which is associated with high risk and the likelihood of a deposit being lost. Soon they begin to divide the deposit into parts, so as not to lose everything at once and disperse accounts, sliding into ludomania, losing the latter and getting into debt.

But it happens like this: a trader successfully trades, receiving 10% per month or simply buys cryptocurrency, forming his investment portfolio, but then he becomes bored. Yes, colleagues in the shop tease that they allegedly do 1000% per month! The bright head is visited by the idea to try something new and the speculator turns “under the brick”.

In order to find your own income comfort limit, you need a couple of months of experimentation. After which it remains only to follow the plan and not violate MM.

5. Lack of self-control. Admit: it is easier for us to control someone else - children, subordinates, relatives, than ourselves. The list of children's responsibilities hanging on the wall and the daily checkbox in the evenings (with faces for failure and smiles for discipline + accumulation of rewards for buying toys) work wonders, displaying the pedagogical talent of any parent at 80 lvl.

However, for ourselves, we do not hang such a list, checkwe do not wish to fulfill our obligations, finding excuses for any whims and changing the rules at our discretion. In principle, there are universal laws in the Universe that work on a global level for everyone and everyone, but it’s useful for us to have before us an individual list of goals, see a daily work plan and keep a disciplined record of its implementation.
