LocalBitcoin rival launches Litecoin trading

Non-custodialLocalCryptos cryptocurrency P2P marketplace has opened up the possibility for users to buy and sell Litecoin (LTC) in addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH).

Until November last year, the platform was called LocalEthereum and supported the trading of the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization.

Along with a statement on adding support for other crypto assets, the marketplace rebranded. The first cryptocurrency added was Bitcoin.

LocalCryptos then stated that they intend toenter into competition with LocalBitcoin, the leading P2P platform at that time and have their own advantages for this. Among them is a non-custodial system for depositing bitcoin.

In a statement, LocalCryptos noted that LTC and BTC are very similar and this script will be applied to Litecoin. Until June 18, the marketplace will not charge fees on transactions in LTC.

The platform intends to further expand the list of supported assets and invited users to guess the next, adding that this is definitely not Dogecoin.

Recall that this month, LocalBitcoin for the first time lost in terms of trading volumes for the week to the Paxful platform.
