Toronto Stock Exchange Starts Trading Three Ethereum ETFs

Three Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETH) have been launched on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Ethereum ETFs offered by asset management companiesPurpose Ether, CI Galaxy Ethereum and Evolve Ether. All of them are calculated, therefore they allow investors to gain access to the ETH market without the need to own the tokens themselves.

CI and Evolve exchange traded funds are notprovide for payment of management fees until June 15 and May 31, respectively, and Purpose charges 1%. However, when working with the products of the first two, the company must pay 0.40% and 0.75% of the cost of netassets.

All three firms also offer Bitcoin ETFs.

While Canada is developing the market for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds, the regulator in the neighboring United States has not yet approved a single application to launch such products.
