Concern "Kalashnikov", which produces the acclaimed automatic machine AK-47, would like to disconnect from the international payment network SWIFT and payments monitored by the bank sector, and instead start using "digital currencies".

The owner of the organization Alan Lushnikov, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF), made an unexpected statement:
“What we would expect from a banking system is a transition to a non-banking system of payments. They talk about digital currencies all the time - we really need it, ”TACC quotes.
Lushnikov said that this is an alternative systemIt is not tied to SWIFT and is not controlled by banks. For this reason, the company is to a lesser extent interested in the digital currencies of central banks (CBDC).
Between those, at the current moment the creation of a digital ruble is the only legitimate vector for the development of the digital currency sector.
