A bronze mirror bust will be installed in Hungary in honor of the creator of the first cryptocurrency, Satoshi.Nakamoto.
Инициатор проекта Андраш Дьёрфи, редактор Hungarian crypto site Kripto Akadémia, believes that the anonymity of the creator of Bitcoin cannot prevent the perpetuation of his legacy, which opened “a new chapter in the history of the Internet.”
The face of the statue will have a mirror surface,that is, the observer will see his own face in the display. This is to reinforce the concept of “we are all – Satoshi Nakamoto." The sculpture will be full-length, with blurry facial features, wearing a hoodie and a Bitcoin logo.
The monument is created by two local sculptors – Gergely River and Tamás Gilli.
The project is funded by four large Hungarian organizations related to the crypto industry and more than 20 private crypto enthusiasts and projects.
The bust will be installed in Graphisoft Park, near the statue of Steve Jobs, Apple's co-founder.
