Morgan Stanley owns over 1 million Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) shares.
According to the report provided inThe SEC, the banking giant, is investing millions of dollars in the first cryptocurrency through the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC).
About 30 Morgan Stanley funds own GBTC shares. The largest share of 928,051 securities (more than 700 BTC) is managed by Morgan's Insight Fund.
In addition to large positions of GBTC, the bank invests incrypto companies. In March, Morgan Stanley began negotiations to acquire a stake in the Bithumb exchange, and will offer wealthy clients the opportunity to invest part of the portfolio in bitcoin funds.
