Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is learning crypto investing from the best – twins Winklevoss and Anthony Pompigliano.
On his Twitter account on Thursday, Suarez called Bitcoin “a stable investment in an unstable year,” adding that he reads the Winklevoss brothers' book Bitcoin Billionaires.
Both Winklevoss and Pompigliano responded to the mayor's tweet. Tyler announced that he and his brother Cameron would bring Suarez a signed copy of the book, and Pompigliano suggested that Miami would be the bitcoin city of the future.
In addition, on the same day, Suarez hinted that the city administration is investigating the possibility of integrating blockchain and cryptocurrency payments. The details of the project have not yet been published.
