The first Bitcoin ATM was installed at Miami Airport

Bitcoin ATM company Bitstop installed one of its machines at an international airportMiami in Concourse G near Gate 16.

The company claims that the location isstrategic given that Miami's airport is the third busiest in the United States based on international passenger traffic.

Bitstop co-founder said:

More and more people prefertravel with bitcoins instead of cash for convenience and security. Miami International Airport – this is the ideal place where our customers can conveniently exchange their dollars for bitcoins and vice versa.

This is the company's 130th machine in the United States, and its goal – by the end of 2020, install 500 Bitcoin ATMs worldwide.

Recall that earlier this year, the Coinme company, which specializes in bitcoin ATMs, completed the A-1 series of financing rounds, in which it managed to raise $ 1.5 million.
