The KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange continues to restore its services after a hacker attack that occurredin September.
The company announced the resumption todaythe ability to deposit and withdraw funds in Bitcoin, Ether and Tether. USDT is available for withdrawal on all supported systems: Tron, EOS, Omni and Ethereum. Prior to that, KuCoin worked to improve the security of the respective wallets.
KuCoin notes that crediting addressesdeposits on the platform have been updated. Deposits sent to the old addresses will be credited to clients' wallets, but the exchange does not recommend using them.
After the hack, KuCoin suspended all asset deposits and withdrawals. Servicing of 65 other cryptocurrencies has been resumed to date, the message says.
Recall that over the weekend, the CEO of KuCoin, Johnny Liu, said that the exchange had identified suspects in the recent hacking of the platform and theft of about $ 280 million.
