Input Output Hong Kong has launched a testnet for the Cardano platform and has revealed a rollout plan for the update.
May 27 projectCardano has unveiled its plan to roll out a new smart contract platform. The first test network, called Alonzo Blue, has already launched.
Alonzo – this is a hard fork that will introducenew features on the Cardano network. The integration of Plutus scripts will make it possible to develop new decentralized applications (dApps), including those related to decentralized finance (DeFi).
It will take about three months to fully implement the project.
In addition to technical improvements, Cardanotargeted at developing countries. The project announced a partnership with the Ethiopian government to implement distributed ledger technology (DLT) for education.
