HTC Invests $ 3 Million in Bitmark Blockchain Startup

Consumer electronics giant HTC led a $3 million Series A funding round. Among the othersfamous participants who invested in the Bitmark startup, – Alibaba WI Harper and Digital Currency Group.

The funds received will be sentto stimulate sales and develop the company’s marketing strategy. Bitmark, a digital property rights startup, says that since its launch in 2016, more than 1 million digital properties have been registered in the system.

Bitmark significantly expands the prospects of blockchain technology by providing ownership of any digital asset – said Phil Chen, chief executive at HTC.

In 2017, the company entered into partnerships.with the University of California at Berkeley to collect health data collectively, while respecting HIPAA and IRB regulatory requirements for patient confidentiality.

That same year, Bitmark raised $1.7 million in seed funding led by venture capital firm Cherubic Ventures.
