Changpeng Zhao announces new cloud service and a $ 100,000 contribution for listing on Binance DEX

The head of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, Changpeng Zhao, held a session answering user questions, revealing amongother plans to launch a new service, which should be announced in the next 10 days.

During a live broadcast on Periscope, Zhao said that the key phrase for the new service will beBinance cloud.

He did not provide additional details, but, apparently, we are talking about a decentralized cloud service.

Additionally, Changpeng Zhao stated thatdecentralized platform Binance DEX intends to charge a fee for listing projects in the amount of $ 100,000. According to him, this step is aimed at combating spam and fraudulent projects.

“We want to reduce the amount of spam orfraudulent projects. A validator voting process will be introduced, and the cost of [listing] is likely to be around $ 100,000. Over time, this amount may change. ”- he said.

Another noteworthy announcement concernedexpanding the list of supported currencies for the p2p trading platform. It is currently only available for mobile devices. At the initial stage, the platform supported currencies such as the Chinese yuan and the Vietnamese dong, but now the Russian ruble has also been added to this list. At the same time, the exchange did not make any additional announcements.

Earlier this week, Binance made it possible for users to purchase cryptocurrencies using Russian rubles using a Visa card linked to their account.
