Bitcoin Cash network update could trigger a hard fork

The Bitcoin Cash upgrade, scheduled for November 15, 2020, is just under 3 months away.In the community, there is noThe debate over the appropriateness of the proposed "miner tax" is subsiding.

On August 18, the developers of Bitcoin ABC published a message describing the new version of the client 0.22.0.The company said that the upgrade will include the ASERT DAA algorithm for adjusting the mining difficulty, and "a new rule for miners is to reinvest 8% of therewards to the network."

Essentially, BCH miners will be forced to channel some of their profits towards “developing the Bitcoin Cash infrastructure. The blog post states:

This is done so that we can hire more technicians to maintain and develop the network so that it can develop in the future.

Amaury Sechet, ABC developer, confirmed the shortagefinancial flows. However, he admits that the November update divided the BSN community into two irreconcilable camps.  Supporters of alternative clients do not want to switch to the upgrade. Roger Ver is one of them. In his opinion, the new client will make BCH a copy of Dash.

This will be the third fork of Bitcoin Cash. The two previous forks spawned Bitcoin Clashic and Bitcoin SV.
