Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange, has officially launched a bitcoin options trading feature on itsfutures platform.
According to a statement dated April 13, initially options will be available only in the exchange’s mobile application.
The exchange noted that before the start of trading, the investorwill have to pay a fixed premium. This means that any potential profit will be net, that is, profit minus premium. In a statement, Binance representatives warned:
We do not guarantee you that your option will bringprofit after deduction of premium. Most options will not be profitable, but some of them will bring a huge profit. Please use this feature as you wish.
As previously reported, the CME cryptocurrency exchange has already launched the trading of bitcoin options in January this year. And in December 2019, the Bakkt platform also announced the launch of contracts.
