Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange Adds EOS Token Staking Support

The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance this Wednesday announced the addition of one of theThe largest cryptocurrencies on the market - EOS.

Starting March 13th, Binance will take a picture of everyoneaccounts that contain EOS. EOS tokens will be distributed based on the rewards received by Binance. The total amount will be divided as follows:

  • EOS for user = total stake reward received by Binance * user retention rate;
  • User retention rate = average user EOS / total average EOS located in Binance.

To participate in this program, users musthave a minimum of 0.25 EOS, which at the current price corresponds to just over $3. Rewards will be paid out monthly starting April 30th. The first billing period will last from March 13 to April 15. In the future, payments will be made before the 20th of each month.

Binance's entry into this sector waspredictable, last month 15 million votes were registered on the EOS account of the exchange. Currently, more than 60 million votes have already been collected, which allowed the trading platform to take 43 positions and receive a reward of 117 EOS per day.

The share of each user in the EOS award pool will be calculated as the total amount of rewards earned by Binance, multiplied by the user ratio in the total amount of EOS provided for stake.

According to Binance estimates, the current annual return on EOS staking is 1-3%.

Also today, Binance announced the addition ofstablecoins BUSD and USDT to the service for instant purchase of digital assets using Visa bank cards. At the beginning of February, the service began supporting Russian Visa cards.

In addition, today the Binance platform receivedadded margin tokens BNB/BULL and BNB/BEAR from the FTX exchange. They are available for trading in pairs with USDT and BUSD and allow you to open long and short positions, respectively, on Binance’s own cryptocurrency BNB with x3 leverage.
