Binance has added the ability to purchase the first cryptocurrency and the popular stablecoin Tether for Ukrainiannational currency.
The Binance cryptocurrency exchange has opened trading for BTC / UAH and USDT / UAH pairs since June 24. On the first day of trading, the volume of transactions amounted to 542,000 and 676,000 hryvnia, respectively.
Popular platform continues to enter Ukraine intocryptocurrency space and gain a foothold in the developing cryptocurrency market. Since last fall, the largest cryptocurrency exchange has been advising the Ukrainian government on the legalization of cryptocurrencies in the country. A new draft law "On virtual assets" has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
As part of plans to support 180 world currencies, last October the exchange added support for five fiat currencies, including the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH).
In February, the platform added the function of buying four cryptocurrencies for the Ukrainian hryvnia through Visa bank cards.
