The client is a citizen of the Russian Federation and does not conduct anyactivities in Ukraine. A possible reason for the blocking, he calls the receipt on his account of USDT, which he acquired at the end of December from a friend. By the way, the seller’s account was also blocked.

“I went through re-identification and Ithey simply wrote: “Wait 30 days for the investigation to go on.” The origin of the money in the account was not asked from me, although it is not difficult for me to explain. The Ukrainian police aren’t contacting me, ” - said the trader.

A number of users also reported about such locks, which were not connected, however, with the request of the Ukrainian police.

Binance representatives confirmed the authenticity of the letter.

“The letter was sent by our support team. The reason is a request from law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. Proceedings in progress ”, - Gleb Kostarev, the official representative of the Binance exchange in the Russian Federation, said in a comment to ForkLog.

He added that users will be notified by the support service about further steps of the exchange.

Recall that in December Binance blocked a withdrawal of funds to Wasabi wallets to one of the users, later explaining this by conducting an investigation due to the activation of the risk control mechanism.
