Binance has expanded the list of supported fiat currencies

The Binance Bitcoin exchange has opened the possibility of direct purchase / sale of cryptocurrencies for eight more fiat currencies.

The exchange has added payment gateways for:

  • Vietnamese Dong (VND);
  • Indonesian Rupiah (IDR);
  • Nigerian Naira (NGN);
  • Colombian Peso (COP);
  • British pound sterling (GBP);
  • Mexican Peso (MXN);
  • Canadian dollar (CAD);
  • Argentine Peso (ARS).

The total number of supported fiat currencies has reached sixteen. Among them: Russian ruble, American dollar, Euro, Chinese yuan, Ukrainian hryvnia and others.

Earlier, CEO Binance Changpeng Zhao said that his main task in the coming months will be the integration of all fiat currencies in the world.

The opportunity to make deposits for trading and withdrawing funds in Russian rubles at the end of October. For the euro, this became possible in November.

In the same month, Binance acquired WazirX cryptocurrency exchange in India, with plans to introduce the purchase / sale of cryptocurrencies for Indian rupees (INR).

Today, December 6, the media reported onBinance plans to invest in a bankrupt Union Bank registered in Liechtenstein. Binance CFO Wei Zhou called this information "false."

Recall that this month Binance added trading pairs with the Russian ruble.
