Beijing authorities spoke about plans to develop their own metaverse

Government of the capital of Chinahas released a two-year urban metaverse plan that will require all neighborhoods to adhere to the recently released Web3 Innovation Agenda.

The plan is characterized as a new generationintegration of information technologies that will contribute to the development of the Internet. The program is designed to help Beijing create a model city for the digital economy. The plan will require various districts to create technological infrastructure at the municipal level and promote its use in various sectors, including education and tourism.

The development program provides for the integrationsuch technical means as 3D visualization and GIS (geographic information system) to create a visual digital platform of urban space and corresponding improvement of digital infrastructure:

“Promote digital education scenarios,support close collaboration between Metaverse-affiliated technology companies and educational institutions, expand smart and interactive online learning models, and develop industry-wide digital learning platforms.”

According to the plan, county municipalities will have to provide financial and personnel support for the creation and development of virtual reality.

Huoxun social platform to further develop it into the world's first social platform with a focus on developing the metaverse.
