After returning to Russia, Navalny received more than 1 BTC donations

The Bitcoin wallet created for donations to Navalny’s headquarters has been replenished by 1.16 BTC over the past week.

WITHSince the oppositionist’s return to his homeland, 33 incoming transactions worth more than $40,300 have been received at his Bitcoin address.

For the first time, a link to a cryptocurrency wallet wasposted on the website during the 2018 presidential campaign. Then Navalny's team donated more than 106 million rubles. In total, 653.4 BTC were transferred to the wallet over the years.

Later, the General Investigation Department accused Navalny of embezzling sponsorship funds and speculating in cryptocurrency.

On Monday, the oppositionist returned to Russia, after spending several months in Germany after the poisoning, in which he blames the FSB and Putin personally. The Kremlin denies all charges.

Upon his return, the blogger was immediately detained inairport. A Russian court sentenced him to 30 days in a Moscow prison for violating his parole, setting the stage for a later trial that could send the prominent Kremlin critic to prison for several years.
