62% of organizations plan to invest in cryptocurrency within a year

According to research by Nickel Digital Asset Management, 62% of asset management companies want to invest in crypto for the first time in order to increase their capital in the long term.

Nickel Digital Asset Management interviewed 100 institutional investors from the US, UK, France, Germany and the United Arab Emirates remotely.

47% of respondents said that the main incentive to enter the cryptocurrency market is the growth potential, and 44% indicated the main reason was increased confidence on the part of corporations and funds ina new asset class.

41% of respondents answered that they are ready to invest in this area for the first time due to the improvement of the regulatory framework, and 34% consider cryptocurrency to be a good way to protect against inflation.

According to Nickel CEO HenryHowell, the increased focus of organizations on digital assets is driven by the stability of the crypto market during the Covid-19 crisis, growing corporate participation, and improved infrastructure and regulation.
