Omsk resident lost 900,000 rubles while trying to buy bitcoins

46-year-old resident of Omsk lost 907 thousandrubles when trying to buy bitcoins. The woman discovered an Internet platform offering to invest in cryptocurrencies and began transferring money to it. However, she did not receive digital assets, according to the website of the Russian MIA Administration for the Omsk region.

The woman replenished the balance on the Internet platform for almost a month.She made several transfers from November 16 to December 4, and only then contacted the police.At the moment, the law enforcement agencies are conducting a check, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.

Last fall there were several similar cases.First, a 63-year-old resident of Voronezh appealed to law enforcement agencies, saying that she lost about 1.1 million rubles.Then the pensioner lost 1 million rubles, twice trusting the scammers.
