Average confirmation timetransactions on the Bitcoin network have dropped by 97% since mid-May. This is evidenced by data from Blockchain.com.
On May 16, that figure reached 340 minutes, setting a new annual high. A month later, the confirmation time dropped to 7.88 minutes, decreasing 43 times.
The total volume of unconfirmed transactions in the mempool dropped to 580 KB. In mid-May this figure reached 95 MB. Thus, the mempool has been 99% free since then.
The average commission rate has also dropped 92% since May 20, when it hit $ 6,647. At the moment, the average commission is $ 0.55, which is close to the annual low.
The median commission size also decreased by 95%, reaching $ 0.2. On May 20, this figure exceeded $ 3.9.
Recall that today the number of wallets with 0.1 BTC broke the second record in a day. Against this background, the hash rate returns to the pre-halving level.
