A major Bitcoin whale has emptied one of the fattest crypto wallets in existence. In total from him15,022 BTC were transferred in the amount of $ 166,137,553.10, while the transaction fee was less than one dollar - $ 0.91.

Most of the BTC - 14,442 BTC worth over $ 156 million - was transferred to one wallet.

According to BitInfoCharts analytical platform,the sending address was 45th in the list of the "fattest" wallets. It can be owned by an exchange, custodian or some other organization. However, as you know, neither of the two addresses are associated with crypto companies.

Perhaps the bitcoin whale was an early investor,which transfers BTC to new addresses for security reasons. Yesterday, the tracking account Whale Alert wrote about 15 bitcoin transfers, at least for 1000 BTC.

Five of them appear to have been linked to the 2016 Bitfinex hacker attack. Then, cybercriminals stole about 2,500 BTC worth more than $ 27 million in nine separate transactions.
