Vitalik Buterin supported Solana blockchain developers

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin expressed support for the Solana blockchain, which is going through difficult times after the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.

The situation with the FTX exchange provoked seriousthe fall in the SOL rate, which fell below $10 for the first time in two years, as a result of which the coin dropped to 17th place in terms of market capitalization. Several platforms are planning to switch from Solana to alternative blockchains, so sentiment regarding the future prospects of this network is quite pessimistic. For example, the owner of the YouTube channel Bitboy Crypto, Ben Armstrong, believes that even more projects will leave Solana in the future.

However, not all members of the crypto community are like this.categorical. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin expressed support for the Solana developers, despite the fact that it is a competing blockchain. Buterin wrote that it was difficult for him to give an assessment from the outside, but still he wished the Solana developers success. Many people bought SOL in hopes of making a quick financial gain, without caring about the value of the technology itself. With those investors gone, it's time for those who truly value blockchain's potential to emerge, Buterin said.

“Smart people told me that Solana hasserious developers, and now that the terrible opportunists acting in their own interests have been flushed out of their money, the network has a bright future. I hope the community has a chance to prosper,” Buterin tweeted.

In early November, Solana co-founder AnatolyYakovenko said that the project team will focus on improving the stability of the network in order to solve the increasing problems with its shutdown. Previously, Yakovenko denied claims that the Solana blockchain is an “Ethereum killer,” since networks can complement each other.
