US presidential candidate calls for cryptocurrency investment

Andrew Yang, a businessman and U.S. presidential candidate, believes that America should"Invest more inblockchain".

During an interview with Bloomberg Politics, Young said:

My priority is to create clear and transparent rules that would help companies grow in the future and create strong competition.

The presidential candidate also added that cryptocurrency blockchain technology "has huge potential and America shouldto invest in them." 

One of the issues that Young touched on during the interview is the difference in cryptocurrency policies in different states.According to him, this directly hinders the development of technology in the country.He believes that regulators have been inactive for too long, thereby missing the opportunity to become a global leader in the blockchain industry. 

We need to have a single set of rules for the cryptocurrency market, because at the momentIt's bad for everyone – bad for the country, bad for users, and bad for innovators who would like to invest in this area.

Recall that last year, Andrew Young announced his desire to modernize the voting process with the help of blockchain technology.
