The number of Solana NFTs released on the network per day hits a new record

September 7th marked a record for the number of NFTs issued on the Solana network. On that day, 312,000 collectible tokens were issued – five times more than the average number of previously created NFTs.

If on September 4 the number of issuedcollection tokens in the Solana network was 39,000, then on September 7 the figure rose sharply to 312,000. At the same time, on September 8, 292,000 new NFTs appeared in the Solana network, and on September 9 – another 178,000.

At the same time, the volume of NFT trading inSolana networks. Thus, on September 6, the trading volume amounted to 373,000 SOL ($11.5 million) - this is the maximum figure since May of this year. On May 7, trading volume decreased slightly to 334,000 SOL, but was still much higher than the average for recent months.

Note that the increase in the number of NFTs issued andTrading volume on the Solana network stands out positively against the background of the general field of collectible tokens - in recent months, other networks have recorded a constant decrease in trading volume and overall activity.

“I remember last year “some people” were laughing at the release of NFTs on the Solana network,” said Chase Barker, head of development at the Solana Foundation.

Earlier, the developers of the decentralized Helium network announced their intention to switch to the Solana network.
