Information about more than 700,000 Telegram users from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus was found in the public domain.
According to the resource "Information Leaks", unknown persons posted 774,871 lines on the network containing the names of users, nickname, their identifier and phone numbers.
Presumably, the base was obtained usingautomatic collection and structuring of data - parsing. Who and why collected the information is still unknown. Such data can easily be used by fraudsters for ransom claims, phishing attacks, or SIM swapping.
This is far from the first case of personal data leakage.data of messenger clients to the network. Last summer, a 900 MB database with confidential information of several million users appeared on the darknet.
