Information about more than 700,000 Telegram users from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus was found in the public domain.

According to the “Information Leaks” resource, unknown persons posted 774,871 lines on the network containing users’ full names, nicknames, their ID and telephone numbers.

Presumably, the base was obtained usingautomatic collection and structuring of data – parsing. It is still unknown who collected the information and why. Such data can easily be used by scammers for ransom demands, phishing attacks or SIM swapping.

This is not the first case of leakage of personal information.messenger client data to the network. Last summer, a 900 MB database containing confidential information of several million users appeared on the darknet.
