Sam Trabucco, who served as co-CEO of Alameda Research, announced his decision to leave the company.
“I think that's all. […] I'll miss. […] If there’s one thing I’ve learned at Alameda, it’s making the right decisions – and that’s the right decision for me.”- he wrote.
The top manager explained that he would remain at Alameda Research as a consultant without authority.
According to Trabucco, he "gradually" reduced hisrole, because at the moment he cannot devote enough time to work. He added that he had reached a point in his life where he would like to prioritize "other areas".
Trabucco explained that he has been really happy lately, spending a lot of time traveling, visiting friends and family, and doing self-development.
"I don't currently have any other projects or anything like that, but I wouldn't rule anything out in the future once I feel more 'recovered'", the specialist explained.
The role of unified CEO has been taken over by Caroline Elysson, who has served as co-CEO since October 2021. In 2018, she joined Alameda as a trader.
Recall that last year Forbes included Trabucco in the list of "30 under 30" promising and successful young people in the United States.
