Traders expect bitcoin to rise in the next seven days, as this trend has been observed during the New Year holidays since 2018.

The last four years, the cryptocurrency marketends the first week with a noticeable increase. So in 2018, the price of BTC rose by 18%, in 2019 – by 7% in 2020 – by 13%, and at the beginning of 2021, in just seven days, Bitcoin added as much as 36% to its value.

Although, according to trader Alex Kruger, only the last two years are indicative, since the previous market was different from the current one. However, he believesthat the year 2022 for the first cryptocurrency will start optimistically due to the powerful capital inflow.

Some analysts share his view,speaking about the end of the wave of unprofitable sales of digital assets before the end of the reporting period and reinvestment in Bitcoin by major players. Noting that institutional investors remain positive on BTC's long-term prospects, especially amid global high inflation.

At the same time, they also do not exclude the possibilitya partial rollback of the crypto market during the period of economic recovery and a new redistribution of capital between various asset classes, in favor of less speculative ones.
